Pre-Heat & Storage Tanks For Waste Heat Recovery
A pre-heat tank allows the user to get the maximum energy savings from the heat recovery system.

With a pre-heat tank, when a hot water demand is placed on the main boiler tank and new water is pulled in to replace the exiting water, the new water comes from the pre-heat tank where it has already been heated.

  Above is a 119 gallon pre-heat tank.
Below are twin 1128 gallon pre-heat tanks.

All tanks are made in the USA. All tanks larger than 119 gallons are ASME tanks. Indoor pre-heat tanks are available in sizes from 80 to 1128 gallons, and outdoor tanks from 119 to 6141 gallons. HotSpot standard systems use indoor 80 or 119 gallon tanks.

Features:

2" Non-CFC Foam Insulation—Covers the sides and top of tank, reducing the amount of heat loss. This results in less energy consumption, improved operation efficiencies and jacket rigidity.

Water Connections— 2" NPT factory installed true dielectric fittings allow high flow rates, extend water heater life and eases installation.

Rear Connection—119 gallon tanks have a 2" NPT spud for a rear water connection.

Two Protective Magnesium Anode Rods—Provide added protection against corrosion for long trouble-free service.

Steel Tank—Heavy gauge steel automatically formed, rolled, and welded. T&P Relief Valve tapping on side of tank & port for 3/4" NPT Aquastat.
